The game between closely ranked teams ended with bottom-ranked Tsukuba R.'s (0-13) road loss to sixth ranked Hokkaido L. (3-10) 60-81 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Hokkaido L.. Tsukuba R. was better in second period 22-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hokkaido L. forced 21 Tsukuba R. turnovers. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hokkaido L. maintains sixth place with 3-10 record. Tsukuba R. at the other side still closes the standings with 13 games lost. Hokkaido L. will face again Tsukuba R. (#7) at home in the next round.
