Everything went according to plan in Krakow where top-ranked AZS AGH Alstom (6-0) beat 8th ranked MKS Skierniew. (2-6) 81-68 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 10 points at the halftime before their 46-23 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. AZS AGH Alstom outrebounded MKS Skierniew. 44-30 including 30 on the defensive glass. Guard Tomasz Zych (185-87) scored 22 points to lead the charge for the winners and forward Damian Kalinowski (201-91) chipped in 5 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side swingman Mariusz Lapinski (195-82) responded with 29 points and 9 rebounds and forward Mariusz Wojcik (200-79) scored 4 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. AZS AGH Alstom have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in Group B. MKS Skierniew. lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with six games lost. AZS AGH Alstom will face Ostrow Mazow. (#9) in Ostrow Mazowiecki in the next round and are hoping to win another game. MKS Skierniew. will play at home against LKS Lodz and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
