Regular Season Round 8: Templeogue - UCC Demons 74-88

Premier League top team - UCC Demons (7-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat sixth ranked Templeogue (3-4) in Dublin 88-74. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Templeogue. UCC Demons dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Templeogue's 28. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Templeogue's players. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Colin O'Reilly (200-84, college: Post) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). UCC Demons' next round opponent will be UL Eagles (#7) in Limerick where they are favorite. Templeogue will play on the road against the league's second-placed Killester in Dublin and hope to win that game.
