Regular Season Round 10: Suchy Las - Slask 2 Wroclaw 102-54

Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Suchy Las (5-4) smashed at home 7th ranked Slask 2 Wroclaw (3-6) 102-54 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Suchy Las. Slask 2 Wroclaw was better in fourth quarter 22-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Slask 2 Wroclaw to just 3 points in first quarter. Suchy Las dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Slask 2 Wroclaw's 26. Suchy Las forced 28 Slask 2 Wroclaw turnovers and outrebounded them 42-15 including a 24-6 advantage in defensive rebounds. Suchy Las looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Forward Mateusz Brek (192-94) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and center Filip Pruefer (208-96) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Five Suchy Las players scored in double figures. At the losing side Stanferd Sanny (185-94) responded with 18 points and point guard Marc-Oscar Sanny (185-96) scored 5 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Suchy Las maintains fourth position in Group D with 5-4 record. Loser Slask 2 Wroclaw dropped to the eighth place with six games lost. Suchy Las will face Nowa Sol (#7) on the road in the next round. Slask 2 Wroclaw will play against Polonia Leszno and hope to win that game.
