Bottom-ranked Gorizont II (0-5) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to fourth ranked BrGU COR Victoria (3-3) 68-45. The game without a history. BrGU COR Victoria led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Gorizont II to just 7 points in first quarter. BrGU COR Victoria dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Gorizont II's 32. They outrebounded Gorizont II 50-34 including a 35-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Center Tatsiana Rebianchuk (186-88) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds to lead the effort and center Alesia Lalovich (188-79) supported her with 12 points and 8 rebounds. Four BrGU COR Victoria players scored in double figures. Even 14 points and 8 rebounds by forward Galina Shylovich (182-91) did not help to save the game for Gorizont II. International point guard Natallia Baklaha (170-93) added 7 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. BrGU COR Victoria maintains fourth position with 3-3 record. Newly promoted Gorizont II still closes the standings with five games lost. BrGU COR Victoria will play against Victoria (#6) in Grodno in the next round. Gorizont II will play on the road against Olimpia GrGAU in Grodno and hopes to get finally their first victory.
