Ribola Kastela (#4) was upset in Velika Gorica by eighth ranked Gorica 109-77. The game without a history. Gorica led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. The winners were led by power forward Ante Zizic (201-97) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and point guard Dominik Herendic (188-94) supported him with 17 points and 8 assists. Four Gorica players scored in double figures. Even 8 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals by guard Nikola Dosen (190-91) did not help to save the game for Ribola Kastela. Power forward Mladen Vujicevic (203-97) added 12 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Gorica (3-4) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with KK Split and Zabok. Ribola Kastela at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the fifth position with three games lost.
