There was no surprise when 14th ranked Cognac BB (2-7) was defeated at home by first ranked Saint Chamond (9-1) 96-92 on Saturday. Saint Chamond made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Guard Matthieu Guichard (188-88) fired 21 points and 6 assists for the winners. Cuban power forward Grismay Paumier (203-88) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. British forward Rob Marsden (200-88, college: Findlay, OH) produced a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and American guard Hugh Robertson (195-89, college: S.Florida) added 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side.
