We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when fifth ranked Chiba Jets (7-6) edged at home 4th placed Toshiba Thunders (6-5) 85-84 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 40-33 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Defending champion Toshiba Thunders dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. Chiba Jets will face again Toshiba Thunders (#5) in Kanagawa in the next round.
