Regular Season Round 5: MIA Academy - Olimpi 82-72

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tbilisi: MIA (#3) and Olimpi (#6). MIA (4-1) won against visiting Olimpi (1-4) 82-72. The hosts trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 32-19 charge, which allowed them to win the game. MIA forced 20 Olimpi turnovers. 26 personal fouls committed by Olimpi helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was international center Giorgi Sharabidze (210-90) who scored 21 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all ten shots !!!). International point guard Giorgi Tsintsadze (192-86) chipped in 17 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Four MIA players scored in double figures.
