There was no surprise in Madrid where 16th ranked Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (1-7) was defeated by second ranked Regal FC Barcelona (7-1) 79-64. The game was mostly controlled by Regal FC Barcelona. Baloncesto Fuenlabrada was better in fourth quarter 19-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Strangely Baloncesto Fuenlabrada outrebounded Regal FC Barcelona 39-26 including 25 on the defensive glass. Croatian center Ante Tomic (217-87, agency: XL Basketball Agency) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 7 rebounds. Brazilian-Italian point guard Marcelinho Huertas (191-83) contributed with 7 points and 8 assists for the winners. British power forward Daniel Clark (210-88) replied with 15 points and 9 rebounds and naturalized Senegalese center Moussa Diagne (210-94, agency: Interperformances) added 11 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Baloncesto Fuenlabrada.
