Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fourteenth ranked Forli and 13th ranked Casalpusterlengo had identical 3-5 record. Casalpusterlengo trailed by 14 points at halftime and as many as 15 after three quarters before a 23-12 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 70-74 at the end of the game. The former international point guard Lorenzo Saccaggi (190-92, agency: Interperformances) stepped up and scored 22 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and the former international forward Davide Bruttini (203-87) chipped in 15 points and 12 rebounds. Casalpusterlengo's coach Andrea Zanchi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Forli. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Casalpusterlengo lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the thirteenth position with six games lost. Forli will face higher ranked FCM Ferentino (#6) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Casalpusterlengo will play against Mantovana (#9) and hope to win that game.
