Regular Season Round 10: Tczew - Basket Pila 78-72

There was a minor upset when 7th ranked Basket Pila (3-5) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Tczew (2-6) 78-72 on Sunday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Forward Filip Struski (200-94) scored 26 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Oliwier Szyttenholm (184-82) chipped in 15 points during the contest. Four Tczew players scored in double figures. Tczew's coach Jacek Miecznikowski used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side guard Grzegorz Przewozniak (191-82) responded with 23 points and 5 assists and forward Lukasz Krzeminski (201-80) scored 19 points and 9 rebounds. Newly promoted Tczew maintains ninth position in Group A with 2-6 record. Loser Basket Pila keeps the seventh place with five games lost. Tczew will face KUKS Koszalin (#10) on the road in the next round.
