Very predictable result when fifth ranked Novipiu Casale (6-3) defeated at home 11th ranked Givova Napoli (3-6) 75-60 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 75-60. American guard Jermaine Marshall (193-90, college: Arizona St.) stepped up and scored 21 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and naturalized Senegalese forward Abdel Fall (202-91) chipped in 13 points and 12 rebounds. Four Novipiu Casale players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward DeMon Brooks (201-92, college: Davidson) with 25 points and 6 rebounds and naturalized American guard Jarrius Jackson (183-85, college: Texas Tech) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Novipiu Casale moved-up to second place, which they share with C.de Latte BRE and Manital Torino. Givova Napoli lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the thirteenth position with six games lost. Novipiu Casale will face Lighthouse TR (#10) in Trapani in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Givova Napoli will play at home against the league's leader Tezenis VE and hope to win that game.
