Oita Heat Devils (6-8) outlasted Sendai 89ers (10-6) in overtime by five points 91-86 on Sunday night. The game took place in Sendai. But the guests from Oita were better at the end. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sendai 89ers. Four Sendai 89ers players scored in double figures. Oita Heat Devils maintains seventh position with 6-8 record. Sendai 89ers at the other side keep the fourth place with six games lost. Oita Heat Devils will face higher ranked Toyama Grouses (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Sendai 89ers will play against Fukuoka Rizing and hope to win that game.
