The biggest surprise of round 9 in Serie A2 was guest Ferrara's (7-1) road victory over Vicenza (#3) 68-54 on Sunday evening. It was a key game for the top position in A2. The game was mostly controlled by Ferrara. Vicenza managed to win third quarter 15-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Ferrara forced 20 Vicenza turnovers. The best player for the winners was power forward Liliana Miccio (182-89) who scored 19 points. Forward Jomanda Rosier (182-89) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds.
