Regular Season Round 16: LF Basket - Eco Orebro 93-80

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked LF Basket (6-5) beat 10th ranked Eco Orebro (2-9) in Lulea 93-80. The game without a history. LF Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. LF Basket shot 26 for 35 from the free-throw line, while Eco Orebro only scored ten points from the stripe. Strangely Eco Orebro outrebounded LF Basket 44-28 including a 15-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Eco Orebro was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Bahamas forward Jaraun Burrows (203-85, college: IPFW) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Alex Wesby (198-80, college: Temple, agency: R.H.Consultancy) who added 24 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four LF Basket players scored in double figures. At the losing side American point guard Cliff Colimon (182-89, college: E.Washington) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and Danish guard Mikkel Plannthin (195-88, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 12 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. LF Basket maintains sixth position with 6-5 record. Eco Orebro lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with nine games lost. LF Basket will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Eco Orebro will play at home against Norrkoping Dolphins (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
