Regular Season Round 12: Zhejiang CB - Xinjiang FT 107-128

Not a big story in a game in Hangzhou where 14th ranked Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (3-9) was rolled over by fifth ranked Xinjiang Flying Tige (9-3) 128-107 on Friday. The game without a history. Xinjiang Flying Tige led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 82 of its points in the paint compared to Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank's 50. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Filipino power forward Andray Blatche (211-86) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!), 18 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals and center Wei Liu (210-89) who added 17 points and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American point guard Errick McCollum (185-88, college: Goshen) with 35 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import center Chris Johnson (210-85, college: LSU) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds. Five Xinjiang Flying Tige and four Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Xinjiang Flying Tige have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Guangdong ST. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth position with nine games lost. Xinjiang Flying Tige will face higher ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (#3) in Hangzhou in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank will play on the road against the league's leader Liaoning Hunters (#1) in Yingkou and hope to win that game.
