No shocking result in a game in Orchies where fourth ranked Orchesien BC (7-2) defeated 14th ranked Souffelweyersheim (2-7) 64-53 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Orchesien BC. Souffelweyersheim was better in third quarter 11-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Orchesien BC made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Souffelweyersheim turnovers. Souffelweyersheim was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American guard Joshua Alexander (193-87, college: SF Austin) who scored 24 points. Guard Pierric Poupet (191-84) chipped in 9 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Orchesien BC's coach Fabrice Courcier used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was center Moustapha Diarra (204-87, college: USF) who recorded 14 points and 9 rebounds and forward Kevin Dinal (202-93) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively.
