Regular Season Round 9: Taby/Djursholm - LF Future 85-81

There was an upset when higher ranked LF Future (4-6) was defeated on the road by eleventh ranked Taby Basket (2-6) 85-81 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 21-13 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Taby Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Point guard Kevin Taylor Lundgren (185-94) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 8 rebounds, 13 assists and 4 steals for the winners and forward Hampus Ahlin (194-95) chipped in 27 points and 11 rebounds. The best for the losing side was point guard Caleb Musie (173-95) with 22 points, 5 assists and 5 steals and American guard Brian Curry (185-86) scored 16 points and 7 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Taby Basket moved-up to ninth place in North. Loser LF Future dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. Taby Basket will face Polisen (#10) in Stockholm in the next round.
