Regular Season Round 7: Tsmoki III - Prinemanye 71-69 OT

Tsmoki III's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after five consecutive loses. They used home court advantage to defeat Prinemanye (0-6) 71-69. Prinemanye was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 13-6 third quarter run of Tsmoki III. They tied the game at the end of regular time. Then they were better in overtime eventually winning that period 10-8. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Prinemanye to just 6 points in third quarter. Tsmoki III forced 23 Prinemanye turnovers. Prinemanye was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for guard Vlad Mikulskiy (188-98) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Evgeniy Pankratovic (186-98) helped adding 13 points and 12 rebounds. At the losing side guard Pavel Suvorov (185-95) responded with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists and center Andrey Khoruziy (195-97) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds. Tsmoki III (1-5) left bottom position moving up to ninth place. It was Prinemanye's sixth loss in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost. Tsmoki III will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Prinemanye will play at home against Tsmoki II (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
