Regular Season Round 10: GKS Tychy - Krosno 83-70

Round 10 in 1Liga means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Tychy where host GKS Tychy (5-5) beat league's leader Krosno (8-2) 83-70 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Krosno. The game was mostly controlled by GKS Tychy. Krosno managed to win second period 24-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Power forward Tomasz Deja (200-83) fired 24 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners. Point guard Marceli Dziemba (186-92) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Damian Pieloch (195-89) produced 18 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and Dariusz Oczkowicz (182-81) added 19 points respectively for lost side. GKS Tychy moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Legia. Krosno at the other side dropped to the second position with two games lost. They share it with Sokol Lancut. They were replaced at the leadership position by Stal Ostrow. Krosno will play next round against AZS PP trying to make it back to the top of the standings. GKS Tychy will try to continue on its current victory against eleventh ranked Znicz Basket in Pruszkow.
