Extraliga top team - Prievidza (14-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Nova Ves (4-13) 81-54. The game was mostly controlled by Prievidza. Nova Ves was better in fourth quarter 16-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Prievidza forced 19 Nova Ves turnovers and outrebounded them 45-23 including a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. They maintain first place with 14-3 record, which they share with Inter Bratislava and Rieker KN. Nova Ves lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 13 games lost. Prievidza will play against Rieker KN (#3) in Komarno in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Nova Ves will play at home against SKP Banska Bystrica (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
