The game in Fukuoka was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Sendai 89ers (11-6) played at the court of 8th ranked Fukuoka Rizing (4-13). Sendai 89ers defeated Fukuoka Rizing 86-73 on Saturday. Forward Josh Peppers (201-85, college: Cent.Florida, agency: Court Side) produced 17 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Greg Logins (203-88, college: Canisius) added 8 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Sendai 89ers maintains fourth place with 11-6 record, which they share with Osaka Evessa. Loser Fukuoka Rizing dropped to the ninth position with 13 games lost. Sendai 89ers will have a break next round. Fukuoka Rizing will play again at home against Sendai 89ers (#4) and hope to win that game.
