There was a minor upset in Skierniewice where 6th ranked LKS Lodz (3-5) was crushed by eighth ranked MKS Skierniew. (3-6) 88-57 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 11 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 31 points. MKS Skierniew. forced 19 LKS Lodz turnovers and outrebounded them 41-30 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when MKS Skierniew. made 8 blocks. Newly promoted LKS Lodz still keeps top position with five games lost. MKS Skierniew. will face Piaseczno (#9) at home in the next round. LKS Lodz will play against Ostrow Mazow. (#8) in Ostrow Mazowiecki and hope to win that game.
