Regular Season Round 9: Villeneuve - Nantes 81-48

Very expected game when 11th ranked Nantes Reze (3-6) was smashed on the road by seventh ranked Villeneuve D'Ascq (5-3) 81-48 on Saturday. The game without a history. Villeneuve D'Ascq led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Villeneuve D'Ascq had a 31-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Nantes Reze's players. It was a good game for the former international forward Fatimatou Sacko (177-85, agency: Comsport) who led her team to a victory with 12 points and 9 rebounds. Belgian center Ann Wauters (194-80, agency: Josep and Nicolas) contributed with 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Villeneuve D'Ascq players scored in double figures. The former international power forward Aurelie Bonnan (187-83, agency: Josep and Nicolas) answered with 5 points and 9 rebounds and the former international Sarah Michel (180-89, agency: Comsport) added 13 points in the effort for Nantes Reze.
