Regular Season Round 9: Fryshuset - LF Future 76-73

The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Fryshuset as it allowed them to take a leadership position in North. Fryshuset edged 6th ranked LF Future in Stockholm 76-73. LF Future was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. They outrebounded LF Future 42-19 including a 18-0 advantage in offensive rebounds. Fryshuset looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Forward Felix Lemetti (-99) stepped up and scored 18 points and 5 assists for the winners and Bruno Lira chipped in 13 points and 10 rebounds. Fryshuset's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was DR Congolese center Tresor Saya (203-84) with 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and Spanish guard Pablo Arenaza (194-93) scored 20 points. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. LF Future at the other side dropped to the seventh place with six games lost. LF Future will play next round against BG Lulea trying to get back on the winning streak. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will face at home their local rival from Lulea - BG Lulea. Fryshuset will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked Orongo Dragons in Sundsvall.
