Not a big story in a game when 15th ranked Sichuan BW (3-10) was defeated at home by ninth ranked Shandong Bulls (8-5) 94-86 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 50-37 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Shandong Bulls made 24-of-27 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Shandong Bulls outrebounded Sichuan BW 48-33 including 35 on the defensive glass. Sichuan BW was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. American-Ukrainian point guard Eugene Jeter (180-83, college: Portland) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Serbian center Miroslav Raduljica (213-88) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. Five Shandong Bulls players scored in double figures. Nigerian-American guard Michael Efevberha (193-84, college: CS Northridge) produced 34 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and guard Ruheng Wang (191-90) added 10 points respectively for lost side. Shandong Bulls moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Sichuan BW lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the fifteenth position with ten games lost. Shandong Bulls will face Chongqing FD (#18) in Guangzhou in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Sichuan BW will play at home against Qingdao Eagles and hope to win that game.
