There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked Angelico Biella (5-5) outscored at home higher ranked Agrigento (5-5) 99-71. The game was mostly controlled by Angelico Biella. Agrigento was better in fourth quarter 27-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Angelico Biella made 23-of-27 charity shots (85.2 percent) during the game, while Agrigento only scored seven points from the stripe. They outrebounded Agrigento 38-27 including 25 on the defensive glass. American-Danish guard Alan Voskuil (191-86, college: Texas Tech) notched 33 points (!!!) to lead the effort and point guard Tommaso Laquintana (187-95) supported him with 17 points and 10 rebounds. International swingman Mattia Udom (195-93) added 15 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Angelico Biella moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Agrigento. Angelico Biella's next round opponent will be higher ranked Novipiu Casale (#5) on the road and it may be quite challenging game.
