Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Recanati and 6th ranked Aget Service IM had identical 5-4 record. This time Recanati used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Imola 88-74 on Sunday night. The game was mostly controlled by Recanati. Aget Service IM was better in second period 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Recanati dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Aget Service IM's 34. American center William Mosley (202-89, college: Northwestern St.) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 23 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized Belgian point guard Dimitri Lauwers (187-79) chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. Five Recanati players scored in double figures. At the losing side naturalized Albanian Franko Bushati (190-85, agency: Two Points) responded with 31 points and power forward Marco Maganza (204-91) scored 9 points and 13 rebounds. Recanati (6-4) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Reggio Calabr. Aget Service IM at the other side keeps the sixth position with five games lost. Recanati will face higher ranked Treviglio (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Aget Service IM will play against Chieti and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the A2 Gold just one year after relegation.
