No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Broni (4-3) beat at home 7th ranked San Salvatore (2-6) 77-61 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Broni. San Salvatore was better in second period 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Dyana Accini (173-89, agency: Players Group) who helped to win the game recording 17 points. The former international forward Valeria De Pretto (185-91) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Five Broni players scored in double figures. Latvian forward Dita Rozenberga (180-92) replied with 11 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Anna Lussu (163-85) added 16 points in the effort for San Salvatore. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Broni maintains fourth position in A2 with 4-3 record. Loser San Salvatore keeps the seventh place with six games lost.
