Regular Season Round 10: Eos - Mark Basket 65-63

The most exciting game of round 10 in the Damligan took place in Lund. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of higher ranked Mark Basket (6-4) to eighth ranked IK Eos (4-6) 65-63 on Wednesday evening. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 65-63. IK Eos forced 24 Mark Basket turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when IK Eos made 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of center Louise Angel (190-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 6 blocks. American Ashley Daniels (186-89, college: Arkansas, agency: Two Points) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 6 blocks and forward Anna Stoltz (181-91) added 16 points in the effort for Mark Basket. IK Eos moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Norrkoping. Mark Basket at the other side keeps the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Alvik Basket. IK Eos is looking forward to face higher ranked Alvik Basket (#5) in Stockholm in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Mark Basket will play on the road against Norrkoping Dolphins and is hoping to win this game.
