Regular Season Round 8: Qazvin - Sanaye 88-59

Bottom-ranked Sanaye (0-7) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 88-59 loss to fourth ranked Qazvin (3-3) in Qazvin. The game without a history. Qazvin led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Sanaye's 26. Qazvin forced 28 Sanaye turnovers. International center Mohammad Yousofvand (207-96) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Armen Allahverdi (197-82) contributed with 12 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Qazvin's coach Mohammed Reza Eslami felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Vahid Boroojerdi (-88) replied with 13 points and Amin Boghlani added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Sanaye. Qazvin maintains fourth position with 3-3 record. Sanaye at the other side still closes the standings with seven games lost. Qazvin will play against PMINA Esfahan (#6) at home in the next round. Sanaye will play against Naft Abadan and hopes to get finally their first victory.
