His fellow American import power forward Bernard James (208-85, college: Florida St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Nigerian-American point guard Josh-Emmanuel Akognon (180-86, college: CS Fullerton) answered with 41 points (!!!) and Lebanese swingman Fadi Khatib (199-79) added 16 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Foshan. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Shanghai Sharks.
