Regular Season Round 12: Tarvas - Rapla 73-65

The game between Top Four teams took place in Rakvere. Third ranked host BC Rakvere (7-4) defeated one of their biggest challengers TYCO Rapla (6-5) 73-65. BC Rakvere made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when BC Rakvere made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward David Haughton (198-91, college: Purchase) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and the other American import guard Brandis Raley-Ross (188-87, college: S.Carolina) who added 18 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four BC Rakvere players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Rait-Riivo Laane (179-93) with 19 points and 4 assists and swingman Janar Soo (199-91, agency: Players Group) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. BC Rakvere maintains third position with 7-4 record having nine points less than leader TU/Rock. TYCO Rapla at the other side keeps the fourth place with five games lost. BC Rakvere are looking forward to face KK Parnu (#5) at home in the next round. TYCO Rapla will play against Audentese/N. and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
