Regular Season Round 15: Xinjiang FT - Jilin NE T. 109-110

Important game to mention about took place in Urumqi. Ninth ranked Jilin Tigers (9-6) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging higher ranked Xinjiang Flying Tige (10-5) 110-109 on Friday evening. Xinjiang Flying Tige was ahead by 3 points after three quarters before a 26-22 charge of Jilin Tigers, which allowed them to win the game. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Dominique Jones (193-88, college: S.Florida) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 46 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 8 assists. Syrian guard Michel Madanly (194-81) accounted for 18 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. American-Filipino power forward Andray Blatche (211-86) came up with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 14 rebounds, 9 assists and 7 steals and international center Qi Zhou (217-96) added 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks respectively for Xinjiang Flying Tige in the defeat. Four Jilin Tigers and five Xinjiang Flying Tige players scored in double figures. Jilin Tigers moved-up to eighth place. Xinjiang Flying Tige at the other side keeps the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with Shanxi Zh.. Jilin Tigers will play against league's leader Liaoning Hunters in Yingkou in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Xinjiang Flying Tige will play on the road against Shandong Bulls (#10) in Jinan and hopes to get back on the winning track.
