We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 5th ranked KK Parnu (5-5) was defeated at home by sixth ranked TTU (5-8) 64-56 on Saturday. KK Parnu was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. The best player for the winners was power forward Joonas Jarvelainen (202-90) who scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Kiur Akenparg (190-88) chipped in 16 points. Four TTU players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Lithuanian Ronaldas Rutkauskas (203-92) who recorded 9 points and 17 rebounds and Latvian guard Sandis Silavs (195-88) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively. TTU maintains sixth position with 5-8 record. Loser KK Parnu keeps the fifth place with five games lost. TTU will meet bottom-ranked Valga Kalev (#9) on the road in the next round. KK Parnu will play against the league's second-placed Kalev/Cramo (#2) and hope to secure a win.
