The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Minsk: Gorizont (#1) and RGUOR (#6). RGUOR was crushed at home by 36 points 43-79 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. The game without a history. Gorizont led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding RGUOR to just 6 points in fourth quarter. Gorizont dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to RGUOR's 30. Gorizont forced 29 RGUOR turnovers. Ukrainian power forward Tetyana Antoniuk (187-95, agency: LBM Management) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and international guard Natalia Anufryienka (174-85) chipped in 12 points. Four Gorizont players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was center Ekaterina Karchevskaya (183-98) with 9 points and 11 rebounds and power forward Hanna Lapo (188-97) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Gorizont (8-0) have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 8 victories in a row. RGUOR at the other side keeps the sixth position with five games lost. Gorizont are looking forward to face BrGU COR Victoria (#4) in Brest in the next round. RGUOR's supporters also look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Minsk Tsmoki-Minsk.
