The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Lekdetec.nl as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Lekdetec.nl smashed bottom-ranked Amazone in Bemmel 92-51. Lekdetec.nl made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Amazone turnovers and outrebounded them 43-29 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Lekdetec.nl looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists.
