Regular Season Round 11: Paris-Levallois - Le Mans 74-65

There was a minor upset when 11th ranked Le Mans (5-6) was defeated on the road by thirteenth ranked Paris-Levallois (5-6) 74-65 on Saturday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Le Mans won third quarter 19-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for American swingman Blake Schilb (201-83, college: Loyola, IL) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international power forward Landing Sane (207-90) helped adding 17 points and 5 rebounds. Paris-Levallois' coach Gregor Beugnot used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The former international point guard Rodrigue Beaubois (186-88, agency: Comsport) responded with 22 points and 5 rebounds and Polish Michal Ignerski (207-80, college: Mississippi St.) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. Paris-Levallois moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Le Mans. Paris-Levallois will face STB Le Havre (#13) on the road in the next round.
