Regular Season Round 12: Ostrow Mazow. - LKS Lodz 78-83

The game between closely ranked teams ended with eighth ranked LKS Lodz's (4-5) road victory over 9th ranked Ostrow Mazow. (2-8) in Ostrow Mazowiecki 83-78 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 11 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 5 points. It was a good game for swingman Aleksander Lenczuk (193-93) who led his team to a victory with 39 points (!!!). Jakub Borowski (193-88) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. LKS Lodz's coach Piotr Zych used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Swingman Michal Wojtynski (193-89) replied with 32 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Piotr Barszcz (198-81) added 15 points in the effort for Ostrow Mazow.LKS Lodz moved-up to fifth place in Group B. Ostrow Mazow. lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with eight games lost. LKS Lodz will face Wisla Krakow (#7) at home in the next round. Ostrow Mazow. will play against Piaseczno and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
