Very expected game when 11th ranked Sorgues BC (5-7) was defeated at home by fourth ranked ADA Blois (8-3) 78-62. The game without a history. ADA Blois led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Lithuanian power forward Arminas Urbutis (206-86, college: Hofstra) nailed a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and American forward Anthony Brown (203-86, college: Oklahoma St., agency: KMG Sports Management) accounted for 17 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four ADA Blois players scored in double figures. American-British power forward Tafari Toney (202-86) came up with 12 points and 9 rebounds and American-Spanish forward Arnette Hallman (200-88) added 9 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Sorgues BC in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for ADA Blois. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Lourdes and Chartres. Sorgues BC at the other side keeps the eleventh position with seven games lost. ADA Blois' next round opponent will be league's leader Saint Chamond at home and it will be for sure the game of the week.
