Regular Season Round 10: Gaz Metan - CSU Sibiu 77-74

A very interesting game took place in Medias. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of one of their biggest challengers CSU Sibiu (5-5) to tenth ranked Gaz Metan (4-5) 77-74 on Saturday evening. The hosts were ahead by 4 points but lost the second period ending it with a 6-point deficit before their 23-14 run, which allowed them to win the game. Gaz Metan moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Craiova. CSU Sibiu at the other side dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. Gaz Metan's next round opponent will be league's leader Steaua CSM in Bucuresti and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
