LFB top team - Bourges (8-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Mondeville (4-6) 78-56. The game was mostly controlled by Bourges. Mondeville managed to win second period 15-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bourges looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Mondeville's players. American power forward Danielle Adams (185-89, college: Texas A&M, agency: Josep and Nicolas) scored 20 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international guard Paoline Salagnac (176-84, agency: Josep and Nicolas) chipped in 19 points during the contest. At the losing side American forward Courtney Hurt (185-90, college: VCU) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and the former international forward Pauline Krawczyk (182-85, agency: Comsport) scored 14 points. Bourges have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-1 record. Mondeville lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with six games lost. They share the position with Flammes Carolo and Toulouse. Bourges are looking forward to face league's second-placed Basket Landes in Mont de Marsan in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Mondeville will play at home against Arras (#4) and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
