An interesting game for Whale (4-8) which played road game in Jiyuan against 4th ranked Henan (1-11). Second ranked Whale had an easy win 81-61. The game without a history. Whale led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 19 Henan turnovers. It was a very good performance for Filipino-American center Chay Shegog (196-90, college: N.Carolina) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Swingman Siyang Wu (182-91) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Four Whale players scored in double figures. Swingman Jie Sun (183-91) replied with 20 points and 6 rebounds and Wang Wan added 3 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for Henan. Whale have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Whale maintains second position in Places 9-12 with 4-8 record behind leader Liaoning. Henan at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fourth place with 11 games lost. Whale will face league's leader Liaoning Hengye in Anshan in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Henan will play at home against Zhejiang Far East and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
