Leader Iwate Big Bulls delivered the nineteenth victory on Sunday night. This time they beat bottom-ranked Saitama Broncos (0-16) 85-71. The game was mostly controlled by Iwate Big Bulls. American forward Gary Johnson (198-91, college: Albany) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and forward Yuki Nobuhira (190-87) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Four Saitama Broncos players scored in double figures. Iwate Big Bulls (19-1) have an impressive 18-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Loser Saitama Broncos still closes the standings with 16 games lost. Iwate Big Bulls will meet at home league's second-placed Okinawa GK in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
