Another exciting game where second ranked Ravenna (8-3) edged by one point 3rd placed Treviglio (7-4) 72-71. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Treviglio. Treviglio was ahead by 6 points after three quarters before a 26-19 charge of Ravenna, which allowed them to win the game. Naturalized San Marino Andrea Raschi (198-79) saved the victory by scoring 18 points and 5 rebounds. American guard Emmanuel Holloway (185-86, college: Illinois St., agency: Blacktop Management) contributed with 11 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Tommaso Marino (192-86) answered with 23 points and 4 assists and the former international center Emanuele Rossi (206-82) added 15 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Treviglio. Four Treviglio players scored in double figures. Ravenna maintains second place with 8-3 record behind leader Treviso Basket. Treviglio at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. They share it with Reggio Calabr. and Recanati. Ravenna will play against league's leader Treviso Basket at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Treviglio will play against Scafati and hopes to get back on the winning track.
