Bottom-ranked Roseto managed to get a third victory, breaking the series of two consecutive loses. This time they won against seventh-ranked Naturhouse Ferrara 69-62. The game without a history. Roseto led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was an exceptional evening for naturalized Georgian forward Giga Janelidze (199-95, agency: Interperformances) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. American point guard Damier Pitts (177-89, college: Marshall) accounted for 17 points and 4 assists for the winning side. Pitts is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Swingman Alessandro Amici (200-91) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Kenny Hasbrouck (191-86, college: Siena) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively for Naturhouse Ferrara in the defeat. Roseto (3-8) moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Piacentina and Latina Basket. Naturhouse Ferrara at the other side dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. Roseto's next round opponent will be higher ranked Omegna (#11) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
