Regular Season Round 5: Bimasakti - NSH GMC 61-60

Bimasakti can celebrate their first win this season after two consecutive loses. They used home court advantage to defeat NSH GMC (0-3) 61-60 on Sunday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But NSH GMC won fourth quarter 19-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Point guard Denny Sartika (175-80) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and center F Freddy (192-86) chipped in 14 points and 10 rebounds. Four Bimasakti players scored in double figures. Guard R. Azzaryan Pradhitya (181-92) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds and forward Juliano Sucipto (188-82) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. NSH GMC's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Bimasakti (1-2) left bottom position moving up to sixth place, which they share with 4 other teams. It was NSH GMC's third loss in a row. They still close the standings with three games lost. They share the position with JNE BSC. Bimasakti will meet Satya Wacana (#8) in the next round. NSH GMC's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Jakarta to the arena Pelita Jaya.
