Slovakian center Marie Ruzickova (189-86, agency: LBM Management) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and American guard Shannon McCallum (177-87, college: Charlotte) added 13 points respectively for Venezia in the defeat. Venezia's coach Andrea Liberalotto tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ragusa have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 11-0 record. Venezia at the other side dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with San Martino. Ragusa will play against La Spezia (#12) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Venezia will play against Battipaglia (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
