Sixth ranked Hapoel Holon (6-4) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 4th placed Hapoel Tel-Aviv (6-5) 83-80 in the game for the fifth place. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Hapoel Tel-Aviv. Hapoel Tel-Aviv was ahead by 1 point after three quarters before a 23-19 charge of Hapoel Holon, which allowed them to win the game. His fellow American import Tony Crocker (201-87, college: Oklahoma) contributed with 19 points and 5 assists for the winners. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hapoel Holon moved-up to fifth place. Hapoel Tel-Aviv at the other side dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. Hapoel Holon will play against Galil Gilboa (#8) in Rosh Pina in the next round. Hapoel Tel-Aviv will play at home against Hapoel Eilat and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
